i tried removing my windshield wipers but had a difficult time, what else do i have to do besides removing that nut on the top.

 

with the hood down, pull them back so they spring away from the hood.. then just wiggle them and they'll come off

 

There should be a little clip you have to play with, But if you still have the factory honda ones then you can go to honda and just get the ruber inserts. its like $8 or something and takes about 2 min. to install. Just did mine today. rain =
