Default will this alternator work?

sup h-t

i think my alternator is goin out n my ls(obd0)

i still have my alternator from my d15b1 and its brand new.

will this work on my ls?

any help greatly appreciated

im running a d16a6 alt on my b16, i dont know if the a6 is the same as the d15

This has been gone over many times and people still swear it is not possible.
yes a d series will work as long as the obd plug is correct for your harness.
We used to do this back in 97 on early swaps.
you just need a shorter belt.

here is my personal car.

you can see the d series alt

you can even keep the d series alt pulley and just run off of the 3 most inner b series pully ribs.

Awsome!any suggestions on which belt I should get?

Just set the alt to the closest position and take a string around the pulleys. Go straight to the parts store and have them get you a belt. If it is wrong they will trade it out for free. Autozone.

I think my belt is a 91 crx Si
