Default BEST N/A EXHAUST?

ive checked around online and listened to a **** ton of exhausts.. i hate them all.
i have a sleeved 85mm gsr block 12.5:1 compression and a fully ported head with skunk pro 2 cams. im currently running a standard skunk2 megapower exhaust (60mm) sounds perfect but its to restricting..
ive listened to all the buddy club exhausts and all the skunk2 exhausts between 70mm and 76mm.. they make lots of power but sound like a damn rice rocket,
what is the best sounding and performing exhaust i can get my hands on?
im going to start looking into T1R
if you have anything non restrictive and has a good low tone let me know or post a clip. thanks guys

T1R is good, Thermal is good too. Most people build a custom exhaust at the level your car is at to get the sound they want using various length resonators and type of mufflers as well as cats.

If it's off a hatch, the axle back will need to be extended (if your car is a coupe).

That's what I was going to say. Find a good shop to do the work.
I have 2.5" Vibrant muffler on my GSR with no resonator a bit loud but still nice. I will be adding a resonator soon. All custom 2.5" stainless.

Even at that compression, 3" is a little overkill. he does need a little backrpressure. It will hurt his midrange a bit

so i should look around 70mm or like a 2.75.. i dunno if the 2.5 will be to restrictive.. its what i have now. maybe its just restrictive because thats how it was made. dropped the header while tuning and made about 12whp..

would depend on the size of the main tube on the header and the collector. if that collector is 2.5 then 3 inch is a no brainer because anything after that collector/megaphone is a restriction.

there have been no dynos of people losing power from a 3 inch catback.

What is back pressure..? Cars don't need back pressure.

the backpressure you need also depends on how good your header can scavenge i believe.

Backpressure is need if you care about gas mileage.
Honestly people who still don't understand velocity flow need to be quiet.

yeah 3inch makes more power, its also louder so it depends on what you want
make the most power
or have a quieter exhaust

your choice

The stock cat is probably the most restrictive part of the exhaust. If you remove the cat and measure the inlet/outlet, you'll be shocked to notice that it's less than 2" (inches). Installing a large cat back will do nothing for your without addressing that restriction first.

why not keep your exhaust now and get an electric cutout? that way you can still keep the nice sound of your current exhaust and open up your cutout and get more power when you want to. just a suggestion
