I have 97 civic with a D16Y5 and i want to swap it with a B18B1, i need info on what type of motor mount i will need and which wiring harness. I have the ecu for the B18B1 and the engines wiring just need to find out which harness will fit between ecu and engines wiring. I also want to know if im going to have to change transmissions

help please!

 

SI rear "T" bracket, SI motor post mount, SI a/c bracket*, SI lower transmission bracket*, SI starter, SI shift linkage*, SI axles*.

*: can be off any b-series equipped vehicle

You'll also need a b-series transmission.

Your wiring harness should work.

 

so any b series starter wont work? cause i have the b18b1 starter already, can i just use that one?
