Im removing my head gasket and im done with pretty much everything I just want the install order of the head bolts. I got new ARP ones with OEM HG and the specs are 22 and then 53 if im not mistaken.

But what order do I remove and what order do I install???


I tried looking in the FAQ's but i didnt find anything on the subject.

 

haynes book will tell you, grab one from a parts store

 

same as any other honda motor

 

tightning sequence is....

intake side
8 6 2 4 10
9 3 1 5 7
exhaust side

hope that helps, just make sure you have the engine the right way lol
oh and to loosen them, its just the reverse of the tightning, crack each one 1/4 turn increments until hand lose to avoid warping the head

It wasnt as hard as it looks, really easy if you ask me. At least you dont have to remove cams like a B series
