Testing waters, Full B17A1 swap for EF, few more parts
Im just kind of testing the waters here with a few parts I am contemplating selling. In May of 2008 I picked up a DB2 (92 Integra GSR) with the B17A1 motor and all related components like the short geared YS1, and a P61. I have a 1989 Civic that I have been contemplating putting the motor in for a while so I have everything needed to do the swap, However I have recently found a car for sale in town that I am interested in buying because it's essentially the exact direction I'd like to take with my car. It's a 92 Civic with a boosted B16A3.
I am interested in selling the motor as a package deal, that means that I will include:
-Complete B17A1 motor (has 309km/180~miles, less an alternator, heard this motor run before I had purchased the car for parts..runs strong, and can do a compression test if you like) This motor has the same block, and same head as a B16 however it gains the displacement because of a factory stroked crank. I believe there were only 5,000 or so B17's made. It was only ever used in the DB2's.
-Short geared YS1
(1st 3.307 2nd 2.105 3rd 1.458 4th 1.107 5th 0.875 R3.000 FD 4.40)
-P61 ECU (factory 92 GSR)
-Innovative Steel motor mounts (Red 95A stiffness(Close to a solid mount as your going to get with a poly bushing)
-Boomslang OBD0 DPFI>OBD1 MPFI conversion harness
-Factory GSR axles are included
-Factory GSR shift linkage has been cut 2 3/8" and re-welded
$1,800
I think that's pretty much it. Basically it is everything you need to drop into a 88-91 Civic. The only thing you would need is a set of Integra spindles because the axle bore on the Civic is smaller by about 1/8" or so. I'm not sure if you could get away with interchanging different parts of axles, but I would just get the Integra spindles. I also have a few extras I would be getting rid of as well.
-New set of Skunk 2 Pro series cam gears $200
-Fluidyne(?) full EG rad is on the car I am interested in, so either selling that or my new Mishimoto half-rad. $180
-new Competition Stage 5 clutch with an upgraded pressure plate, Competition 1 piece chromoly flywheel. (I am selling this because it is for a YS1, although I'm not sure if it would be compatible with an S80, if it is I'll just keep it.) $500
-used Precision SC6152E or a used Turbonetics T3/T4 (from the car I mentioned, not sure on the size..the car has a Drag turbo kit right now) P-$360 T-$300
-new Kirkey aluminum racing seat with cover $180
-AEM narrowband $30
-possibly Greddy wideband, the sweep is kind of finnicky right now..I'll sell it if it is ok when it's driving.
-13x7 (?) Lenso gunmetal drag rims with Mickey Thompson ET drag slicks 22x8, lots of life left..hard to get a good shot of the depth remaining..i'll use my vernier caliper when I have a chance. I don't think they'll fit the other car because it has Spoon calipers.
I think that's about it. If I think of anything else i'll add it, and add some more detail for everything. Like I said I'm just testing the waters right now, and I will probably end up picking up the up on monday or something like that..If I do, then this stuff is for sale for sure. All prices listed do not include shipping. Will deliver up to 200 miles for free, and will go as far as 400 miles for $0.55 per mile.
