If everything goes smooth on the assembly of the car, my bearings are coming in on wednesday.

My car is running some what. Just needs to be tuned. So hopefully funds will work out and ill be there.

 

having my all motor b16 delsol tuned at ill garadge on sat the 15 so if all goes good i should be there

 

We may come out for an event later this year. The MAP Brainard event is the next one we're going to.

Looks like its gonna be a perfect day for racing. A high of 61 and cloudy with only a 20% chance of rain. Perfect running weather. Anyone else coming out?

 

what are you complaining about?
shop cars are FAST because everyone put whole lot of hours. spend just much as you on parts.
so stop coming with that bs "shop cars are fast".
get your car done right then maybe your 1320 will improve.

wow some one woke up in the wrong side off the turbo, if ur can not in the 10's stop crying man. that's all i can say. Im not complaining here just wanted to see how fast all the shop cars period. my car is done right. my 1320 its all good no worries just improve ur driving. killa

 

I'm interested to see what the shops are bringing, too. When we ran IW '08 there was only one shop coming out with cars - everyone else was just "regular dudes". Now it looks like several shops want to play. Should be a fun season to watch.

 

im still a regular dude, im hoping to be mid 10s and get lucky against the low10-high9 cars

I ordered new bearings and four of the new bearings where f'd up, so I am out on this one. But I will still be there to help ^^^^ and watch.

 

Im doing it by myself as well except for a little help from the 2 tone hatch dude. I got my car running today and took it for a drive. The tune is sooo off but it did hit 3 psi haha. I doubt ill make it this weekend... Dont have money to pay for a tune yet. Everything else is ready to go though.

 

Was planning on heading up there, but due to the weather this week and a few set backs, it doesn't look like it will happen this weekend, better off not to rush things.

Who do you have doing your tuning, and is "2 tone hatch dude" coming to the event?

 

In the past Jordan @ Modern tuned it. Im trying to do it myself now but i have limited knowledge. Leo wont be going to the event. He is waiting on some new engine parts that will hopefully get the car to its full potential. You dont by chance have a 1600cc E85 tune do you? Atleast it might be close than what im working with. If i get it runing and boosting i will totally goto the event.

 

I don't have any 1600cc tunes, wish I could help you out. I am sure somebody reading this has a basemap they could send you.

 

Wow, me and boostek9 drove 3.5 hours to run pro-fwd and not one other person showed to run in the class, which is the same thing that happened the first import wars this year. Hard to believe that the midwest has a import series and no one wants to support it.

 

ill take the free points and free entry, but where are all the people??
shop cars, i dont think so, bring out what you got and lets have some competition

 

I would run with ya but I am not fast enough and don't have the safety requirements.
