Does anyone know who is the OE(M) manufacturer for the front rotors/discs on the '96 Accord LX (2.2 engine)?? And also the part #?

45251SM4020 is the oem number

 

as far as the rotors just use the cheapos from autozone. and then swar them out before your warranty runs out so you get longer use out of your rotors. get the cheapest lifetime warranty pads too. i have had no issues with them. maybe a squeal here and there from people riding their brakes but a quick de-glazing works fine. the minimum thickness is 0.830 inches on the oem rotors

check out centric rotors, i got mine for about $200 for a set of 4 which is a good deal. I got mine through R1concepts online.

i have checked in my car but its showing 45251-BM4-040, is there any problem with that ?

 

Just buy Brembo blanks from tirerack. Way more than sufficient. I used them on my brake setup.

 

that is not the correct rotor for your car. the above posted oem numbers are the correct ones. chances are you have rotors off a slightly different year car that someone used. they may be okay but without looking at each car individually till i find the model with that OEM number i wouldnt know what year car that rotor came off of. it might even be off an acura or something. IDK. but when you replace the rotors tell the shop what you have for your car and they should set you up with the correct oem replacement rotors

 

robcook9-if your car is not the 96accord LX then this OEM number in the thread postings by me and hondparsthero does not concern your car. i just seen that you are not the origional post member. just do like the above post says then
