Icon2 Crx spark issues, sombody help please

OK, first of all I purchased a pretty flawless 91 crx si. the motor and trans were out of the car but did come with the car so I put them in. then I didnt have a dizzy so I wired up an obd1 dizzy to the car. so when I turn the car over I get a couple lite sparks then no spark then a couple light sparks then no spark. I look under at the dash wiring and somone had cut and soldered wires for some unknown reason so I checked them and cant seem to find a severed wire. Is there a relay or a ground I cant see or somthing causeing this spark issue, or is the coil in the dizzy going bad because im not sure. please help im gettin frustrated I wanna drive the car.

This is just me..but one time I had a similar issue, took apart the dizzy and and the contact points where the rotor cap hits it's leads were bad..(Didn't even know they can wear out)..I ended up having to get another Dizzy...

U said ur getting weak spark..I'd check everything from the Dizzy to the plugs, wires included.
