alright so i just got done converting my 89 crx si dash harness to run a 90-91 si cluster.do i have to do any converting to use the 90-91 defogger switch and hazrd and dimmer switch??
Dimmer switch will plug right in.
Hazard switch will need to be re-wired
-90-91 style switch has a 7-wire plug (only 5 wires are used) not sure about 88-89 but I know it's a different plug and needs to be relocated. Or u can leave it on the column.
Defroster will need to be re-wired
-88-89 style have a 6-wire square plug where 90-91 only have a flat 5-wire plug
Not that I know of. Easiest way to do this is to use a 90-91 dash harness from a crx. Did you re-use your old harbess or the new one that came with the dash?

No they are not plug n play. Both harnesses are different. Easiest way to get it to work is to have the matching main harness that connects toy he fuse box and ecu.
