MY GEARS IN THE TRANSTOP PROCESS I REPAIRED THE GEARS AND EVERYTHING I HAD TO MANUALLY LOWER TRUNK INTO PLACE ONCE DONE.

I TRIED THE PROCESS BUT IT WOULDNT LET ME

THE TRUNK LIGHT IS ON AS IF ITS OPEN I TRIED RESETING THE CAR, ECU, FUSES AND NOTHIN THE SENSOR TO TRUNK STILL SAYS ITS OPEN BUT ITS
CLOSED

ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON HOW TO RESET THE PROCESS AND GET IT TO WORK AGAIN.. ITS BEING A PAIN AND IT SUCKS CUZ NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW TO MUCH INFO ON DEL SOL TRANSTOPS RARE CARS..

did you align the new gears properly in the tilter unit? They have to be lined up just right. You don't just pop new ones in...but you prob know that already

 

this was my problem the plastic gears got grinded.

 

just put the new plastic ones back in as they were. You see the arrow on the smaller metal gear? It has to be lined up with the other gear. That's what the arrow is for. Once aligned, you need to fill that thing full of grease. The more the better. I think I took some pics of when I aligned my tilter unit...let me see
