B16a SIR 2 that much better than a B16a SIR 1?

B16a SIR 2 that much better than a B16a SIR 1?
I was looking over Hondamotorsonline.com and saw that the 1st generation B16 SIR 1 costs $1150 and the 2nd generation B16a SIR 2 costs $2450. How can this be? Just because it's a couple years older, it costs twice as less? Don't they all have the same amount of HP? Some explain this huge gap in price to me.

Sir 2 comes with 10 extra HP, and the more expencive Hydro tranny. Plus add the cost of the obd1 components, and you have your price difference.

You could always get the SiRII and just sell the hydro tranny and then get a cable one.
