D16Z6 MANUAL LONGBLOCK IN AUTO VEHICLE

Can a D16z6 from a manual car be used to replace a blown d16z6 in an auto car? I need a motor for an auto civic ex and found a manual longblock close to me. Any insight would be appriciated.

Sorry but i'm new here and seems like asking questions more than answering. Finding this very thread is like finding a needle on a haystack.. Anyway, the d16z6 is from a 95 ex auto. Would this be compatible to my manual dx? Can i use my stock ecu, harness??

Any help would be appreciated
