z6 cam in a d15b1 motor

Default z6 cam in a d15b1 motor

this might be a repost as i cannot find where i originally posted it..

and ways i was wondering if a z6 cam would work in my d15b1 motor?

if you want more power throw a a6 cam in it.
z6 wont work its vtec.

ok thats what i was wondering.
an a6 huh?
how much power would it add, or would it be more aggresive timing.

yeah, im not too sure on how much. probably not that much but you'd notice a difference.
yeah the a6 just has a more agressive cam.
but with a b1 i wouldnt really do much,just by installin an a6 cam you just might be able to hang with the d15b2's they have 92 instead of 72 hp
look into doing a mpfi swap.

What trouble? it took me all of about 30mins to swap a ZC camshaft into my B2. Gains were noticeable but nothing to get excited over. There are dyno proven results showing 30"WHP" gains from installing an A6 cam+MPFI into the d15b's

Had an A6 cam on both my B1 and B2 didn't notice any difference and was mpfi

well i have a z6 VTEC head at my house, and i might swap it on my EF, but i would still have to buy the MPFI swap as well, which has been hard for me to find a complete set.

i have an a6 cam, and an a6 intake manifold injectors fuel rail tps throttle body.

how much of a gain would you git from just the mpfi conversoin alone
