Default HELP!! My driver side turn signal won't work when I turn on the lights...

OK...so I've been having this problem for some time now. When I first started having this problem, I left it alone and the signal began to work again without me having to do anything. But now, it stopped working again. Both of my signals work fine whenever my lights are OFF; but when I turn on the lights, only the passenger side signal works. I checked my fuses, and they are fine. My hazards also work fine. I also have JDM sidemarkers--I've heard that these could sometimes cause overload causing the signal not to work??

Sometimes when I turn on the lights, the driver side signal only blinks once but then stops (on the other hand, the passenger side always works)...What could be the problem? PLEASE HELP ME!! THANKS...

Sounds like your combination (lights/signals) switch is bad. If the hazards work with the lights in any position & all your signal bulbs are flashing correctly with the hazards, then the multiplex is good and the only part of the left turn signal circuit that's left out in that circuit is the switch and the green/blue wire from the switch to the splice before the multiplex. Make sure the wire & terminal are okay. You can do that by unplugging the connector from the switch & applying 12V right to the green/blue wire. If your left turn signal bulbs light up, then the switch is bad. If they don't then you have a brake in that section of wire.

The "stick" switch that sticks out to te side on the left of your steering column that you turn the end of to turn the lights on & off, pull back to turn on high beams, push down for left signal, push up for right signal. That's the combination light switch.
