'86 Crx, smelling gas also stalls when braking the first few times after cold start
The problem I'm having, everytime I cold start my car also pump it more than three times, I let it warm up for a few minutes. And take off, I run to a couple stop signs and the car would just stall. Then start it up again and have a sluggish acceleration when taking off. Sometimes when the car's idling gets really low sometimes I have to floor the gas pedal, so I wouldn't have to keep starting it, and I noticed my acceleration power has been decreasing more and more lately. And it would do the same thing even when the engine is warm. I am pretty sure there's no vacuum leaks. And this all just started to happen for a month almost a half now. I also have to pump the gas pedal more than 3 times before I start the car to make sure it'll start good enough. Before all this problem starting to occur, there is something funny going on with my idle as it'd jump up and down while should be stable stable on the rpm gauge.
It's drawing my attention now as it's getting worser, I need to be able to drive my car for work that is a hour away :/. I've been through a lot with this car already with care after I bought it a few years ago... Thank you in advance, and suggestions are much appreciated!

You can stop using 91 octane in this car, that is just a waste of money on a car with a 9:1 compression ratio.
As for your other problem... it is your carbureator. Hard to say exactly what the issue is (sounds like it is running rich) other than the carb is F*cked Up and needs to be either serviced (rebuilt) or replaced.
