I have a gsr integra and im looking to do something bigger and better. I have been looking at the b20vtec in have been reading on that. (Yes I have searched and found previous b20 vtec builds) Heres my question would it be better to buy a b20 block or my old gsr block that has a thrown rod. This will be my DD so not wanting to go boost just wanting something reliable that will be a fun weekend car.

 

Personally I'd keep the GSR block and simply rebuild it to OEM spec (for reliability).

 

I can buy my old block for $50 could I go with a simple set up and it still be reliable?

crap nvm. Um if you want more then the gsr then b20 vtec would be good.
