fit hatch exhaust on wagon?
Hi i just picked up a 89 civic wagon and noticed no one makes and exhaust for it. I know that EF hatch exhaust wont be a straight bolt up but how hard would it be to make it fit? If i were to buy a WS2 for a EF hatch what would i have to do to get it to work?
I would take it to a *very reputable* exhaust shop and get a custom done. I couldn't bring myself to hack up a $500 exhaust to make it fit, then pay another $50-100 for labor/materials.
Yea i have a problem hacking up a $500 exhaust too. Is there anywhere to just get the WS2 hatch axle back/muffler? That way the only thing getting hacked it to extend the tip so its flush with the back of the car.
You can get the "universal" from Apex, but it is not the horizontal orientation for our cars, better for EG/DC chassis. I had a custom done on my hatch that looks very close to the Fujitsubo Legalis R system for the EF8, its super quiet and looks very clean.
*edit* got it done with mandrel bends, polished ss twin exit muffler, tips, and labor for 390.00
