what part of LA? theres pick your part, theres a few others in the sun valley area. but depending on what youre looking for these may not be good for you. the engines are always gone or are not worth Hmotors buying to re-sell so they are shot. and yes hmotors come from junk yards.

 

so hmotors just buys them and rebuilds them?

 

no they just but them and roll the dice. if they dont pass their test they sell them for cores. if they do pass the test they tell you it has low miles but they dont really know. it just sounds good. oh and you get a few stickers too. they pay like $200 for an engine at most. junk yards sell to wholesalers first because wholesalers buy alot so they dont care about the low price the sell for. its fast money. then they let regular people pick the car clean for a while before they recycle the rest of the car for scrap

every time I'm looking for something in a junkyard, that site will give you all of the junkyards in a specified radius that have the part, gives you the price, condition, phone number, etc. Make life easy on yourself.

 

im not looking for anything in particular
just kinda wanna go and check out what they have
part out anything i can use.

i actually stay in San Gabriel Valley about 20 minutes from East LA
if anyone knows any spots hook it upppppp.

 

i'm not sure about out there but i often cruise the junk yards looking for random parts or just to see what they got. 60 percent of the time i dont even buy anything LOL

 

agree come up on **** its fun i got a cluster for my ef fo free =D try the pick a part on peck road it has alot of random rides

That's what I was talking about there's a lot of dismantleing yards there too
