ok ive had this car on and off since 08 been back and forth thru friends traded and stripped and hard times wasted alot of money on this damn thing and it should have been done along time ago well now ive got it back i want to finish it .. its not going to be anything real special just going to be a decent dd i can enjoy ..

the car started off stock with a gsr skunk2 susp and greddy catback

when i had fall off of 08


then 09 after trading and got it back and put it back together to have a ride had a ls with a gsr tranny



i rode like that for awhile was wanting another hatch or coupe but then in feb this happened courtesy of my roomate and his gto he backed in it in the driveway




so that was 2400 dollars worth of damage so i took the check and wanted to do something i wanted to do for a long time .. ive owned a bunch of tegs and rocked the us front for way too long.... flame all you want i dont care im not jumping on no bandwagon im doing this just for me and me only

so here it starts

got the t bar off

new t bar on with a special vin :gay:



now we have only bolted down the t bar with sheet metal screws to test fit everything before welding and this is the results we got on the first try just a lil adj was made but everything went on smooth i was surprised :yes:




now since that was going along smooth we tore it back apart for welding and cleaning and to get ready for paint which i can not make up my mind what i want to do yet

now after three washes and fender well washes i got this





now we are finding all the dings and dents






now its going to sit like that for a couple of weeks till i decide on a color for the bay and car .. still trying to find a motor wheels exhaust and susp ... i dk what setup i want to go with i would like to go back na with a c1 but i never had a turbo and kinda wanting to play with one maybe like 6 -8 pounds nothing super fast like i said i just want a clean dd i can enjoy i will post more pics of progress ... thanks for looking :idb:

thanks man i just got done looking at your build thread love the color and wheels you have .also im converting my brakes to non abs as well did you order your custom lines online?? if so where at and what sizes would i need ?? if you could help that would be appreciated

 

I actually got my brake setup done at a local shop. The price was pretty fair so I couldn't pass it up. So yeah, can't help you there.
