Default Honda Canada Parts search?

I've seen alot of USA honda sites that allow you to search diagrams and look 4 parts and part numbers. My question is are their any Canadian honda sites or a site that lets you look up Factory honda parts with part numbers and diagrams also. The reason is I want a keyless entry remote 4 my Civic Sir and I was told the remote won't work if its a US remote with a canadian car because my keyless entry module is in my door. The US model has it behind the drivers kick panel. any help would be great thanks.I'm so mixed up all I want is a remote that will work with my 2000 SIR coupe or the part number so I can order one from the dealer

NOPE - doesn't exist. It's not online ANYWHERE. You have to call the dealer. Very annoying.

Deetz maybe you have a good honda dealer I don't I like to call with the part number if possible. It saves alot of time and aggravation anytime I ask for something remotely accesorie or not something easy like a oil filter or timing belt. they say no discontinued or nope can't get it. Alot of people working 4dealers should be working somewhere saying would you like fries with that.

Try calling another dealership.

Also, the US and Canadian Civics use the same shop manual. It's a great way to find individual differences. It always notes if it's different for US versus Canadian or different engines.

nofx, from that chart I should be able to use my factory keyless in my 99 civic with an aftermarket radio? It looks like just the 96-98 had the receivers in the radio, I haven't had my remote for years because I thought it was in the factory radio, damn.

Oh, and the keyless remote is found under:

- ELECTRICAL/EXHAUST/HEATER/FUEL
-- COMBINATION SWITCH

Yeah, the radio only contains the keyless brain for '96-'98. '99-'00 Civics can replace the radio and still have keyless.

I wonder how difficult it would be to put '99-'00 keyless in a '96-'98. But I figure it's just easier to put an aftermarket keyless system in it. The stock remote is better imo.
