!!!B-Swap HALF SHAFT HELP!!!
PLEASE HELP NEED CAR DRIVEABLE ASAP
I have a 91 hatch with a B18C swap. I am using a J1 tranny...
To my understanding J1 tranny is out of 90-91 Integra XS-i. For any b swap into a EF you have
to use 90-93 DA axles, which all share part numbers (except for the 92 Integra B17 axles).
Problem:
I broke the driver side axle and went to replace it. I put everything together and the driver side
axle's inner CV joint is completley collapsed already and wobbles while driving. It is too long! Ive
used both a 91 integra B18, and 92 integra B17 axle and same binding problem.
I have heard there may be 2 different half shafts to use and i could have the longer one.
Anyone have any information about this?

you need the half shaft that matches the axles. you must have a half shaft from a 93+ car, theres actually 3 halfshafts for b series. the 90-93 tegs, the 93+ b series that are in all b series hondas from 93+ and the jdm sir/xsi shaft, out of the three the diffrences are
90-93 teg is shortest
93+ is longer
the jdm (xsi/sir) is a male shaft.
so you must have the 93+ shaft as its slightly longer.

Do all of the Half Shafts share the same bolt pattern?
If I bought a shorter one than U figure that bracket would have to be moved in also, which would throw it off.

yes, thanks for the correction. and i believe one of the shafts onlt use 2 bolts and the latter uses 3.. dont quote me on that, but i know for a fact that the shafts are stamped with letters for the certian car there from.

give the axles from a 88-89 teggy a try. i have been running those in my first B18A1 full swap crx. and im currently using them on my YS1 LSV with a 90-91 teggy intermediate shaft.
