Default Cleaning exhaust carbon from rear bumper

I just picked up an 00 ITR that was running a tad on the rich side. The rear bumper and trunk lid have some black residue from the exhaust. What should I use to clean it off?

even more soap and water........don't forget the loofa........ try some goo gone.....but don't use a lot.....not 100% sure how it will do with paint.....just read the bottle to make sure before you try. and general rule of thumb, if it doesn't say, try cleaning somewhere else on the car you can't see to be sure. oh and one last thing, make sure you use a microfiber cloth. and what kind of condition is your paint in? if you clear coat really isn't there, and your paint looks more or less like a satin finish when clean.......don't waste your time with goo gone. try clay bar and use it at the same time you wash.

Sometimes there is no help. Some wet sanding may be the only help if all else fails.

i have used wheel cleaner before. always get the bumper wet first, spray wheel cleaner on, dont let it sit. use a sponge/towel specifically for this. wipe down, spray more water on. then use regular wash soap you normally use. also wax afterwards
