Default b18b1 91 civic hatch

i have a 1991 civic hatch
with a b18b1, my harmonic balancer rides on my strud rod that comes off of the lower control arm. i have heard that the b16a or the ctr harmonic balancers are smaller in size so they dont rub. has anybody encountered this problem that can help me out? Thanks.

you have the ebay mounts ill bet. they are black with red inserts, they set the engine forward more than usual. you have 2 options, either get diffrent mounts or a diffrent pulley. im running a url alluminum pulley its alot smaller. or get a oem pulley from a car without a/c as they only have 2 slots not 3 as yours does

umm yeah im not sure, they are just like aluminum with black inserts no name, no logo.
bought them from a friend. and the pulley i believe is rubbing on the 1st and 2nd slot not the smaller one..
thanks for the advice though, ill look up that pulley.
it just sucks not being able to lower my car haha
