Oil pressure switch help please?

Okay guys, I got it figured out, the only thing that happened was that I ended up breaking the rubber boot around the switch. Could this be an issue?

No, my rubber boot isn't on my harness and I haven't had any problems even though I do plan on replacing it from a RHD harness I have laying around.
