Default Help!

finally got my car running. now i have another issue. i'm now getting a CEL 6. i swapped out my old one for a known good one (previous motor had no cels) and yet it's still there. thats the first issue.
second, is when i would lightly, even barely give it gas. like from a stop and go kind of thing, the engine would sound/act as if it's in limp mode/jumpy idle.
third. when i'm on the freeway going about 60-65mph and would want to accelerate to change lanes, my car sputters and bogs down. even if i would rev it, it would still bog down (in neutral or in gear).

please help me out h-t.

You swapped out your old "what" and replaced it with a known good one? Have you looked up what the CEL means?

Also, your thread title is too vague and this thread will probably end up getting locked.

sorry, i'm just excited that i finally got back my ctr after 4 months from being stolen.

i replaced the coolant temperature switch located under the distributor (12mm sensor..)
i'm quite familiar with the CEL and how to clear them but a man can only do that much..
i tried one from my old Dohc ZC, D15b2 and my old b18a1. i would buy a new one but the auto parts store is closed.

i'm more concerned about the throttle/bogging issure. could it because fuel related?

i have a p28 with stock CTR (B16B) maps.
