Default crx with a d16z6 motor

okay i have a 90 crx hf with a 94 d16z6 motor in it. ive been reading a lot on this site and most of you guys mentioned that its best if i was to use my stock harness and just buy a conversion harness for it. okay if i was to go that route, would i be able to ref it at the bar station? well obviously i need the obd1 cat for the O2 sensor. but other than that, with the conversion harness, what other things would i need to pass the ref?

Not necessarily it all depends on what REF you go to.I’ve heard of people getting away with barring JDM motors, but not sure about that.
I’m not sure if they’ll honestly check all your wiring.

so im guessing, the best way to find out is to actually go to a bar station and ask one of the refs. then. anyone know a good one in sacramento?
