car squeaks a little when i start it.
if i had to guess i would say the alternator belt. same problem i used to have until i changed the belt. i suggest going with a continental contitech or goodyear gatorback.
You can take a long screwdriver or good ratchet, put one end to your ear and the other to a pulley then listen as someone starts the engine for you. The sound travels really well through either tool.
Or you can take off belts one at a time and hope it's an accessory belt and not the timing belt

thanks guys. i'm hoping it's not the timing belt, either. the squeak didn't occur today. i just heard it once yesterday, but I figure it'll get worse. I want to catch it before it breaks.
