Default Going in for my 96k type E service...

On my 2005 honda accord ex-l 4cyl.

It's the biggest service for the ol girl but I've been told by another accord owner that I should get my water pump replaced at the same time... as it will go soon anyway.

Is this the case?

Is there anything else I should have done while they're digging around?

A 4 cylinder water pump can be changed at any time. Change it when it goes out, or starts leaking, otherwise no. The V6 is another story.
