I am having a problem getting the key to turn at all to try and start my 91 crx hf. it wont budge.
i was working on it for awhile just cleaning things up and now it will not turn. I did have a wrench slip and it shorted the 2 battery terminals for a split second. I dont know if that would have an affect on it or not. I checked all of the fuses and they all checked out fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check your battery fuse on the fuse box in the engine compartment.

 

i checked it and it definately looks a little discolored but its reading 2 ohms of resistance so i dont think thats my problem. i have power to my fuses on the inside of my car. at least my radiator fan is kicking on cause i have it hooked to a switch momentarily until i fix that problem also.

Ive also moved the steering wheel back and forth to see if that loosens it up and i still get nothing.

 

fixed it for now. I sprayed some wd40 in it and it loosened it up.
