Default Eibach Pro Kit & Tokico Premiums

Sup ppl,

I went to get my springs/shocks installed today and well the mechanic that I usually go to wasn’t in so his assistant did the job…anyhow when I got back I found that he put the springs that were more compressed towards the top in the
rear...is this correct? It didn’t look right to me (it actually looks lower in the back than in the front). I thought I’d ask you guys 1st b4 giving this guy hell.

Any help here would be appreciated

Thanks

i don't have eibach pro kit. but according to their website, it should be 1.2 inch drop in the front. and it should be 1.0 inch drop in the rear. i am assuming that it should level the car out, since the stock springs make the front look a little higher. however, i am probably wrong. maybe someone else can help you out.

You're right about the drop. Pro-kits should drop the front 1.2", while the back only drops 1"

Also, note that the pro-kits springs in the rear are a progressive style. So the coils shouldn't be completely even on the rear ones.

I have heard others having this exact same problem, it seems that the only people that complain about this are using the tokico blues struts as well. I don't know if it's because of the struts, or the springs. Also, the springs should say if they are for the front or rear, it's printed on the spring itself I think.

Here's something you can check on. Park your car on a perfectly flat surface, then measure the distance between the highest point on the wheelwell on a front wheel to the ground, then measure on the back wheel from the wheel well to the ground. Does that make sense? The back should be higher than the front, if it's not... well... I dunno what to tell you.

Good Luck
