Anybody know where you can source these anymore? Walmart, Pepboys, Autozone, Napa, all have quarts

Jack (b18cxr) and myself grabbed some the other day at walmart....roughly 17 dollars for a 5qt jug.

 

I usually buy em at Walmart...but they don't always have em

 

Migs - I recently picked up two 5 quart jugs of the new Supersyn at Walmart. (I wanted the old blend, but I guess I'll have to try this stuff out) It was $17.87. Not bad. They had both 5W-30 and 10W-30. Seems like they stock up infrequently and don't restock until they have let the shelf sit bare for weeks on end. When they have it in stock, it seems like they have an endless amount.

 

yea, walmart is the only place I've seen it...

I called all the Walmarts locally, they only have quarts. Booo!

 

why not just buy the quarts? am i missing something

 

Its more expensive

 

same reason a 6-pack of coke is $2.50 and a 2-litre bottle is $0.87

 

in cali they have gallon containers of mobil at kmart, target, and walmart.

if u dont really need the jug type then, i believe Costco has the 6 quart box for $20ish

 

I've seen Walmarts in socal carry them.

i love mobil 1. its the magical oil. its adds 20whp and doesnt have to be changed ever... unless you want to add ANOTHER 20whp, in which case you do have to change it.

 

Walmart does carry it, but you have to look around sometimes becuase they don't always have it in stock. It is at least $10 cheaper than buying it in quarts, although they don't carry the good oil filters. DOH!!

 

What about like Sam's club or Costco or some other type of "bulk" store. That'd be my best guess.

 

Dude that works at walmart across the street said that its seasonal. So just be patient and stock up.
