Icon2 Integra transmission

Will a 93 integra transmission fit a 90 integra ls engine
Im pretty sure it will be just checking before I start

I don't think there's a difference in the clutch. the tranny should be the same as the 90/91. But the flywheel might be a lil bigger. I might be wrong but when me and my friend swapped his trans, we got a 92 tranny and just dropped it in,92 clutch and all.

Thats the same thing I thinking since 90-93 are basically the same cars
because my plans are to drop a 93 m/t since its a 93 chasis and a 90 ls engine since I have one laying around

a 92-93 clutch will not fit on a 90-91 trans, the 90-91 input shaft is smaller than the 92-93

Your right. The teeth on the input shaft is different. I forgot that we had gotten the clutch from the 92. My bad.

What if I got the 93 manual transmission with the matching 93 clutch, would it then bolt up to the 90 ls engine?

all good, i learned this from trial and error. buying a 92-93 clutch for a 90-91 trans ftl
