What tires for 16x8 ET20 fitted on DC2
As the topic states I'm looking for the best tire setup for 16x8 ET20. I went with this set of wheels for hela flush look, and a different pair for traction at the stip. The car that these wheels will be mounted on is a 96 spec DC2. I understand I may have to run with camber (I'm praying that I dont) but the question is, will i have to stretch the tires to clear? I'd like to be able to have to run VERY little camber and use a G-Force tire...
I wont to go ahead and order the tires so they can be mounted and ballanced when the wheels get here.
Thanks

Neither.
On an Integra, two sizes are best: 205/45-16 and 215/45-16. However, you can't safely mount 205/45-16 on 16x8 wheels; if you get 16x8, you will have to get 215/45-16 tires. You're better off with 16x7 wheels, so you can get either size. There is a lot more selection in 205/45-16 than in 215/45-16, which is one more reason to do so.
You can do better than the g-Force tires, too...

you will be fine running a 205/45/16 on an 8" wheel no sweat. if you have stock fenders you may want to make sure you roll your fenders and get a great alignment
So claims an internet poster.
The tire manufacturers, however, all disagree, and specify 205/45-16 tires for use on a maximum of 7.5" wide wheels.
When in doubt, should one trust forum posters on the internet, or the engineers who designed the part?
