debating on B20 non vtec build vs b20v.
I recently got rid of my 11 sec turbo ls hatch so I have a decent amount of cash to do a new build. it will be in a 89 sedan that Im going to lighten up a bit and get the chasis dialed.
regaurdless of what head Ill be doing Im going with a 85mm sleeved bottom end with 11.5 to 1 pistons and rods. this will end up being a dual purpose nitrous motor. not looking for the fastest car n/a but something thats somewhat respectable on the street.
it will be tuned on S300 as well
now I know alot of people are going to say go vtec but Im looking for a good over all powerband and lots of low end tq.
the car already has a b16 in it so I have the option to build that head or buy my buddys build p75 head thats ported with crower 404's and matching valve train. Im just hoping if I went with 404s that my bottom end wouldn't suffer.
chime in with your imputs and what I can expect.
also what would be a good header for the b20 and the b20v, I was thinking itr for the b20 and hytech rep if I did vtec.
