Any sites that sell with warranty?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my amp to an alpine, but I'm having a difficult time finding it for less than MSRP that comes with the warranty. Do you guys know of any online sites that sell it for less than alpine, but comes with a warranty?
Thanks

Thanks for the help FCM...I know you're one of the OG's of this forum, so hopefully you'll know.
The original warranty is through alpine correct? Also how is the extended warranty through square trade?

crutchfield is always the default, because hey they have great service. ikesound.com has always had alpine and they usually offer a 1 year warranty, i have made a purchase through them before but i presume it is a "in house" warranty, because most car audio manufacturers will not honor a warranty through a non auth dealer- this helps dealers out in sales because customers want that warranty. if ikesound.com is an auth dealer like crutchfield, then sure try them. Truth is no one online is going to offer support like crutchfield, and take advantage of a free dash kit and wiring harness while your at it.

But not manufacturers warranty.
All online outlets have some kind of warranty, just not manufacturers warranty, unless it is an "authorized online shop".
WoofersEtc.com does not seem to be an authorized online dealer for anything they sell.
Like most online sites warranty and returns are always a PITA and they will cost you....
WoofersEtc.com will not be held responsible for incidental loss of use, installation or removal, reinstallation or shipping charges associated with defective or returned products.
In order to maintain an inventory of 100%, Brand New, A-Stock, untouched products, WoofersEtc.com cannot accept products for return or exchange. In some instances the WoofersEtc.com Management may accept returns of brand new unopened products for credit, out of good will. In such cases a restocking fee of 15 to 25% will apply. Shipping is never refundable, and will be deducted from the credit total in the amount of "actual shipping cost" or "flat rate", whichever is higher. To apply for a credit/refund, please contact our Customer Service Team, they will instruct you with the correct steps to take.
No matter what the problem, it will cost you shipping and a 15-25% "restocking fee" for returned "unopened' product and for a credit only.
The above is why I never buy online, even from authorized dealers, if I have a problem with something, I want to be able to hand it to the person I got it from, yes I pay a little more but I figure it is well worth it.
With that said, I have friends and customers that have had no problems at all with product from non authorized online dealers, but the ones that have had problems have had lots, from extra cost and time delays, [shipping] to outright no help at all.
As always, support your local retailers, always the best bang for the buck in the long run, in today's economy wheeling and dealing at your local retailer is easy, the marked price is never the sell price, even a "sale" price can be dealt on. 94
