Default water in exhaust system

I know that is it posible to have water in exhaust system. But it usually is comig out from the muffler, and today i noticed that it it was coming out at the end of the cat. My concern is that do i have an exhaust leak since i do have a 2.5 custom catback.

I think it's just the moisture built up. Once in a while water will come out of the exhaust but that is normal especially in cold weather. Well, unless it's coming out like a fire hydrant then you have a real problem.

look for black residue where the water was coming out that is the easiest way to see that you have an exhaust leak.

hey i was just looking for a simple answer. stock exhaust water came out from muffler, custom catback water came from the cat. So QUSTION is does that mean the shop did not do their job right; do i have exhaust gas leaking from the cat?

If your car sounds much louder or smell something funny, then yes your gasket could be the problem from the cat. I'm not sure if you could check this way if the leak is really small. just stick your noise in the rear of a cat and sniff meow!

Oh deffinately. Sorry, I didnt understand the question before. If you got water leaking from your cat/piping gasket, then you most deffinately have an exhaust leak considering gas is smaller than liquid. It probably sounds like *** too. COuld be just a few loose bolts on the cat.
