I need a Honda engine genius. I am building an airplane that currently uses the J35 (pilot J35a4) an an engine choice. I would like to use the J37, but need to verify a few hard to find pieces of information. Could someone please throw me a bone? Here is what I need to know:

Does the J37 have the same engine mount dimensions as the J35? i.e. could you drop in a J37 into a J35 "hole" and have the motor mounts line up? The engine mount assembly for my airplane is made for a J35, and the J37 needs to line up and bolt in the same place. Size doesn't matter here, so it doesn't matter if you can't make a J37 fit into the Pilot's engine compartment, only thing that matters is would it line up with the mounts.

Is the J37 single port exhaust? I think I found that it was, but need to be sure.

What is the dry weight of the J37 and J35?

I hate to hijack an automotive site to ask these questions, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks a ton in advance, I really appreciate it.

j37 has the single exhaust port. that is all i know.

My brother runs a Type S (J series) swapped hatch, on a stock ECU it put down 260Hp & 220 Tq SAE. The J32 Type S motor might be a tad lighter, and more power than the Pilot motor.
