Default how to find tdc

ok i took my head off my car (si head cx block) to do the head gasket and they told me the o rings for the spark plugs under the rocker were bad. so i take it apart, replace them, and put it back together. long story short i had to swap out the blocks. its time to put the head on, but idk how to find tdc on the head or block. ive never messed with timing or anything. any help is appreciated

take all the spark plus out so easier turn the engine with a socket i use a long 1/4in extension put it in the cylider and watch for it to reach its highest point before it starts to drop again thats TDC then check the the arrow on the cam is pointed up. if both those match its in time u and also comfirm the by taking off the distributor cap to see if the rotor button is pointed where the lower left contactor is. This is how i do it..... never fails

it might move a smidge here or there once you get the belt on but yes what you have there is tdc.

cylinders 1 and 4 definitely will be. i cant recall what 2 and 3 would look like lol. either way, so long as both are at tdc you have nothing to worry about.
