Default NRG Seats & Brackets

So I ordered some NRG Type R seats and the brackets they make for Honda's. The brackets don't fit, at all. Here are two pictures.

So for right now I am SOL when it comes to getting these amazing seats in my car. I've sat in them in a friends car, they feel great, sturdy, no problems IMHO. But those brackets just don't fit. I can either return them for a refund, or somehow get them to work.

Any idea's?

NOTE: I don't know how to weld nor know anyone who can, so that is out of the question. Plus, in the future I might want to swap seats, and it will be a pain in the *** if the **** is welded down.

Thanks in Advance.

sounds like you have accord brackets, they are wider and only 2 bolts match.

I don't even get 2 to match up. I have a pic of the brackets if you look at the two linked pictures. I don't know how to embed them so....

Pretty much my stock Sol brackets on my current Del Sol seats are angled in the front and flat in the back. The brackets I was sent are the "92-00" seat brackets that NRG makes according to both JHPusa and NRG. But the brackets have 3 angled and 1 flat. I wonder if 92-95 civic's have the 3 angled 1 flat bracket and the 96-00 is 2 angled 2 flat. Not sure though. Hopefully someone on here knows whats up.....

Well over the weekend the website was updated. Where it says "application" it now says "1994-2001 Acura Integra, 1989-1998 Nissan 240 SX ". The drop down box now says "92-95 civic, 96-00 civic, 94-01 integra excluding type-r", and "05+ scion tc". Granted I could probably get the 96-00 brackets, but according to JHPusa, the 92-95 and 96-00 brackets are all the same. Which makes me think how can they support many different years yet all the brackets are the same?

My cousin was over my house this weekend, he works for a metal recycle center, and he has professional welders there. I gave him the NRG brackets and one of my Del Sol seats and he is getting me new brackets made. Then I will be sending back the "Del Sol" brackets I was sent and getting my money back. Good thing my cousin came over XD. Half the people at his recycle center have Harley's and **** so they do custom weld work on them so I'm quite sure my new brackets will be amazing.

sounds like it will work out. I hate it when websites are super vague and dont put up any information. Best thing is to call them and ask if it fits your specific car.
