Is that the law where you are from? I would check that law again and verify it. Which light do you want to remove, the one on the spoiler or the one inside the window? If you have one inside the window that is a 3rd light, and if you dont, but you still need the 3rd brake light to stay legal, just keep the spoiler. Where would you put that ebay thing anyway? Why not just buy an OEM 3rd brake light for inside?
Don't you like how it looks with the spoiler, or are you putting a Type-R wing on? I think it looks better with the spoiler anyway...but to find a 3rd brake light, yeah; ebay, craig's list, scrap yard, etc.

The LED brake light from my GS-R wing has been stuck inside my rear glass for nearly 8 years now, with double-sided emblem tape I think (stuck to the plastic trim panel). I always wanted to clean it up a bit and adjust the angle, but never got around to it. Oh well, it serves its purpose. My car has been wingless since 2002 and had the holes shaved since 2004.

It's a federal law.
You can't put the OEM third brake light in a GSR. It bolts through the glass.
PatrickGSR94, what does that look like during the day from the inside?

during the day? Just looks like the LED bar sitting back there. At night you can see it light up in the rear view, but it's no big deal at all. I don't even notice that it's there, and in fact when driving my wife's car I always expect to see the rear brake light in the rear view but I don't.
