How do you remove the spare tire on an 09 Pilot? The owners manual shows the crank being under a little flap in the bumper but I can't find the flap for the life of me. I even removed the molding on the bumper where you would step. I just don't see it.

I'm getting ready for a long trip with the family and wanted to know how to change the spare tire which should be remedial but I'm dumb all of a sudden. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i believe its under the rear trunk access compartment. pop the hatch open, lift up the access cover and there should be a square access cover for the spare tire
