94 civic engine swap

I have a 94 civic ex but the engine blew. I have a d series y8 from a 98 civic and i want to put it in the 94. would it be an easy swap or is it not worth the effort?

Yes it should be easy. Since you have an EX you don't need to worry about hooking up vtec, everything should be simple plug and play.
