Default Seatbelt DIY

Any solutions for worn out seatbelts? They wont retract much anymore. Mine are door mount, 91 civic dx hatchback. Whenever I skim the junkyards, theyre worn out too, and new is too expensive.

Are you talking about sedan or hatch?

If hatch, just keep looking around, thats all i could say.

If sedan, you could get either 90-91 sedan belts, OR 90-93 integra belts.

If your seatbelts are worn and the threading is coming off, take them to your local Honda dealership. They'll replace them for free.

Thanks, its a hatch. Like I said, it seems like all the used ones I find are worn out. Just wondering if someone has ever repaired the springs tension.

They do the straps themselves? or just the buckle?

Dont forget, they'll charge the normal "assessment" fee, which here is $100, normally refundable. If they find anything else wrong, they will keep the money and ask if you want it fixed.

My dealership replaced my belts, retractors and the buckles all in one.
