Quarter mile times, still suck!
I posted a week or two ago, my times from LACR. I had ran a 16.9 and thought that was poopy, last friday me and my wife ran 16.7s. I have a 2000 civic dx d16y7 sedan, jrsc, jackson fpr, denso plugs, jr's btc (which isn't working), intake, greddy evo and I'm rollin on slipstreams-205/50/15. Here is what my time slip looked like. I still think this is poopy, I guess I expected more

you should be in the 15's....have you been to a dyno? For sure your traps are telling you that you can run high 15's at least. YOur 60' sucks *** too(no disrespect though)
his 60's arent THAT bad.
ive seen worse.
and his trap speed is probably not gonna give a 15 second quarter
my slowest 15 run was a 15.997 @ 89mph with a 2.4 60'
I dont know what to tell you, the JRSC is a waste of money but it should be putting you in the 15's. that dosent look like it tho. my buddy only ran high 14's with a b16JRSC in is 4dr
you may have a problem. thats what the car runs STOCK

you got a 16.9 with a DX? I ran mine for ***** and giggles and got a 17.6 with a reaction of .532, mine's an auto though, but is manual that big of an advantage.
I have a cheap intake on my car which netted me .41 faster after I took off the pasenger side headlight.

thats pretty bad bro, myb uddy has a 96 dx he runs 16.9 stock with i think intake. Thats it. My friend has a jrsc on his SI he is running 4 lbs of boost!!!...i dont think so. Get it somewhere and fix the problem, that isnt right
hey metal, do you have a supercharger? or was that time you posted from a stock enginge? and what kind of problems do you think I am having with my car?
This might be a shot in the dark but...
Get yourself a decent A/F gauge. Im betting you might be running really rich and bogging the engine. How many lbs of fuel are you running?
The Alttitude of LACR is probably not helping the matter.

my car just has the intake and custom exhaust.
As for problems with your car, did you reset the computer when you installed the super, my friend had the same problem in his SI but after reseting the ecu and some tuning on the dyno he was running 13s

I have reset my ecu numerous times, my fuel pump was bad and throwing a fuel code of some kind (I have a new one now). As for ludehrt, I have a auto meter A/F guage and it isn't showing any more green than when I didn't have a blower, and I am running around 40psi for fuel at idle if that is what you meant.
His car is running fine.
The 60ft's are good for normal tires at LACR.
Its like 2500ft there (which at that time is approx. .6 for altitude correction) so the 16.7 becomes a 16.1 at sea level and the MPH will go up a couple as well.
LACR has a mean crosswind and the track is more slippery than some tracks.
A DX with a JRSC only puts out about what a stock LS Integra does.
And a 4 door with full interior isn't exactly the lightest car.

thats true, i go there almost every other week, i've seen a lot of disappointing times there. i saw GSR's with I/H/E hit mid 16s, civic coupe SI in the 17s, and eg and crx w/ b16a swaps in the high 15s - mid 16s. peace
