Default OT: R's at dealerships..

As some of you know, ive been trying to sell the gsr for the past 2-3 months. No luck selling. Ive searched autotrader, cars.com, getauto, and carmax for an R. I wanna trade the gsr in on one. Called just about every single one i found that was at a half way reasonable price. But it was either sold, or had too many miles on it.

Anyone know a dealership that has one?

why don't you try selling your GSR outright? there's still a nice market out there for integras in general...besides, then you can buy my R

I've never seen any R's for sale anywhere at dealerships in a long time. Except one recently, but they also sell supra's (that have been there for years now), and modified civics (ugly wings, wheels, decals, etc). Very strange dealership indeed. My guess is that the PY they were selling was probably downgraded by wierd mods, would have been better of stock. The car had the front 'A' emblem gone... and in its place a red decal of the 'A' emblem. I.e., Acura 'A' in a circle. Wierd.

I'd try to sell your gsr outright and then look for an R on here. Plenty of them....

Best of luck.

ive tried and tried. its been on ebay, autotrader, local paper, and local ad bulletin. A nice, decent car will not sell around here.... people around here are after an 80's model pickup with 200k+ miles on it.

Have you tried the Integra Type R club of America. I've seen may ITR's for sell there and you could try posting your call there also. The web site is the same format as this one but your membership is also by region so there should be a ITR club in your area. I agree with the others, sell your GSR outright or you'll take a big loss on it and I would rather buy the used ITR from a private owner for the same reason, the dealer has to cover "their" costs.

Good luck.

yes, ive looked at itrca, plenty on there for sale. ITR club in WV, highly doubt that. I know of 2 ITR's in all of WV. Id love to sell the gsr outright, but the market here is terrible....

You live in a area where the car is not in high demand. At that price, you will sell it in less then a day here in Northern CA

call pohanka acura out here in chantilly virginia, ive seen them have a couple used Type R's every once in awhile. I dont see your GSR selling real well in WV but if you brought it out here to NOVA to try and sell it I'm sure you could.

I have. Do they lowball bad? Like you wouldn't believe. I was insulted by there offer, luckily I found so stupid 16 year old stunnah to buy my car, instead. His Dad paid cash for it outright.

Not only did they offer me 19,000 for my fully loaded, (almost EVERY option available) WRX, that was only 6 weeks old with 2,000 miles on it, sticker was 28,000, i paid 26,000. But they also stole my vicoden out of my glove box.
