Convert cable speedo to electronic?
i have a ls tranny in my car and its a cable speedo. my tuner told me i need to have an electronic speedo instead of cable to do stuff like launch control through my chipped ecu, how do i go about converting?
after some searching...all i need is a new cluster and a electronic vss assembly? im running a DA dash swap with DA cluster so mabye ill get a gsr cluster? can someone explain this process in detail?

You should be able to figure it out from there, I hope.

your tuner is incorrect. the speedo may be cable driven but your cluster still converts that mechanical rotation into an electrical pulse which is then sent to the ecu, pin B16.
