removing ABS....whats the part number for the brake lines??
Ok so im removing the abs out of my 95 integra, i already have the RS brake booster and master clyinder. should be getting the proportioning valve tomorrow. all i need now is the hard brake lines. anyone know the part number for them so i can just order them brand new? thanks
doing a full tuck on the engine bay. and it will look 30 times better if the whole unit is gone. just need the part numbers
okay well thats a good reason to go through the trouble LOL. well i dont know the brake line numbers.....not sure they are in my system yet....off hand, you normally just bend new lines and attatch the hardware needed. autozone sells hard brakeline and all the tools needed for this. you can even borrow the tools for free
yeah i know LOL i spent $150 in 2-20 foot hard brake lines (stainless steel) $120 for the fuel hard line, $50 for the stainless fittings, and $250 for the stainless steel braided lines. still waiting to fab them up. doin that after sandblasting, body work, and paint. but it will be one clean ride LOL not a honda though LOL
So you're getting rid of a safety system that will enable you to steer your car while braking on wet pavement, just so that you can make your engine compartment look "cleaner"?

You can look up the part numbers on the Delray Acura website.

Hope you have a flare tool.

Ever think that the OP might not drive this car in the rain or snow?
yeah this is my thought too. i have my own already for my stainless steel line build. but i thought maybe he thinks its hard to do...or that maybe he was trying to do it with the engine still in the car and he didnt want to be in and out of the car. but IDK how hard it would be to do a wire tuck with the engine in it. but like you say, its not hard at all. i prefer it actually
ok thanks for all the advice guys and thanks for the part numbers luck4rmkc. So you guys think its easier to make my own brake lines rather than purchasing the RS ones? BTW the motor is out of the car
making your own will be like 50 bucks maybe. wont be stainless steel but will be the same material the dealer will sell you. and i think it will be so much more fun and you can be more custom if you wanna go that way
when i did mine i just got the hard lines off a eg civic from the junkyard. cost me 10 bucks. they are the exact same lines as the 94-97 rs brake lines. check your local junkyards first. just make sure the eg you find doesnt have abs installed (rare occasion for 92-95 civics to have abs least in my area)
i can imagine the lines to the brakes are the same but how about the ones that go to the MC? i thought the bolts for the integra vs civic mc were different?
i used a newer style mc and bb off a 99 integra and pv from 95 rs and hardlines from a eg. the hardlines had to be bent some at the mc side
