my alternator went out this last weekend and i took off all the bolts and belt and took it off the bracket my only problem is i cant take the dam thing out of the engine bay thiers no space under or on top to take it out because it hits the master brake cylinder ? any help guys and thanks it on a da9 with a b20

 

Remove engine/transmission. Problem solve.

 

im just going to remove the master break cylinder

 

i was able to take the alternator out on my DA without removing anything, just slid it underneath the intake manifold, it took alot of time though

 

From under the car. It is not easy but it can be done. This was on my DC2.
