Titanium heat shield for 1300hp, twin turbo Murcielago.
Shoots flames, this is to protect the paint on the bumper.

The mufflers. Removed brackets as they were mounted to bumper, causing cracks in the carbon.

By the look of the bumper you can get the idea that it is bad ***.

I guess I should have took pics of the car today as it sat in the shop!!!!(beside a 599GTB)
I'm making some hoist extensions for the owner of the shop too.
Old, drooping ones left, new stiffer, stronger on the right.

so I'll grab pics when I go to deliver them. Hopefully Friday afternoon.

I was always under the impression titanium needed to be welded with a full purge chamber, are you just backpurging ?

 

Pretty cool. It's got a big figure-8 type x-pipe standing vertical back there. For the money though, the quality is MEH! You can see where they didn't even grind the tacks before welding, and it's all just ceramic coated regularness. It also touches the frame in spots, oh, and it was hung off of the rear bumper??????

Yes, it was a bit of a chore to backpurge these funny shapes, but patience saw it through.
